Christopher Johnston is excited to partner with the Monica & Andy community as a CPR instructor. He holds a BFA in Theatre Arts with a minor in Education, a master’s degree in Applied Theatre, and an MS in Educational Leadership.
Christopher has worked as a professional educator in NYC for over 14 years and currently serves as a Community Engagement Coordinator and Drama Teacher at a private school in the Bronx. His passion for CPR and First Aid education began after witnessing a medical emergency early in his teaching career, motivating him to become better prepared to support others.
Since becoming a certified CPR instructor in 2016, Christopher has led over 100 classes for diverse populations. His teaching style emphasizes confidence-building, clarity, and calm—using humor and empathy to help participants feel prepared to act in emergencies. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring NYC with his fiancé Joe, doting on their senior chihuahua Chickpea, and celebrating all things holiday-related.
