What does GOTS certified organic cotton mean?

All of our blankets and burp cloths are made with GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic cotton, and the majority of our garments are made with GOTS-certified organic cotton.

GOTS is the highest level of certification available for organic fabrics. In order to receive certification, products are evaluated throughout the manufacturing process — from their very beginnings as raw materials to their final fabrication as garments or blankets.

It forbids the use of harmful pesticides, toxic heavy metals, and chlorine bleach. It requires that all dyes meet safety requirements on toxicity and biodegradability.

And as part of the GOTS certification process, the factories that produce our products are required to provide safe working conditions and fair wages for all of their employees.

A Monica + Andy product should feel as good to you as it does to your baby.

Tell me more about your organic cotton fabrics.

Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, which means there’s no chemical residue in the fabric. That’s extremely important to us since our fabric is snuggling your baby’s soft + sensitive new skin.

Additionally, we do not spray our blankets or garments with any fire-retardants, making everything formaldehyde free. Our fabrics have never been processed with — nor do they contain — phthalates. And finally, all of our buttons + snaps are lead and nickel free.

We take your baby’s safety very seriously.

Where are your products made?

All of our clothing is designed in Chicago, Illinois by our in house team at Monica + Andy. We globally source our fabrics with the majority of our manufacturing done at an organic and GOTS certified factory in Mumbai, India.

Are your prints limited edition?

Yes! To keep our line unique, all prints are limited edition. If you’re looking for a specific print, please email storks@monicaandandy.com.

What is a layette?

A layette is your baby’s first wardrobe! Most newborns wear a mix of cozy and soft bodysuits, rompers, infant gowns, hats, and tops and pants. Monica + Andy’s Modern Layette includes 13 of those essentials (our go-to formula for less laundry) along with 3 blankets, 2 bibs, and 2 burp cloths. It’s all the essentials you need to dress, bundle, and cuddle your baby for the first few months.

Gifting

Do you offer gift wrap?

We offer complimentary gift wrap on Monica + Andy clothing and accessory purchases.

Nursery + More and other partner products ship directly from our partners and are not eligible for gift wrap.

To select gift wrap on your Monica + Andy order, simply select “Add Free Gift Wrap” and add your gift message. If you select gift wrap, the entire order will be gift wrapped together. If you’d like multiple gift boxes, you must place separate orders.

We are unable to add gift wrap or a gift message to an order after it has been placed.

To ensure that your order is gift wrapped, please continue through Checkout and pay with a credit or debit card. We will be unable to process Gift Wrap with your order if you select a 3rd party payment option (e.g. Amazon Pay, Paypal, Shop Pay and Affirm).

Yes! When you add gift wrap, you can include a personalized gift message. Gift messages are handwritten on gift notes and included in the gift box.

Will a gift receipt be included?

We do not include any pricing information or gift receipts in any orders. If a gift recipient wants to make an exchange, they can simply contact our team at storks@monicaandandy.com and they will assist.

Can I send a gift card?

Of course! E-gift cards and physical gift cards are available for purchase on our website. E-gift cards are sent electronically and emailed directly to the purchaser.

Can I return a gift card?

Both E-gift cards and physical gift cards may not be returned or exchanged, and are not refundable under any circumstance. Please ensure you have selected the correct denomination before making your gift card purchase.

Can I register for items on your site?

Yes! Monica + Andy is proud to partner with Babylist. Add our items to your Babylist registry by clicking on the “Baby Registry” link at the top of our website. If you don’t have a registry with Babylist, click on the “Baby Registry” link to create one — it's super easy!

Shipping + Delivery

How much is shipping?

We offer free standard shipping on orders over $75 within the contiguous US.

2-day shipping is available for orders within the contiguous US. Fees will be calculated at checkout.

Our standard fulfillment time applies to all Monica + Andy orders, including orders with 2-day shipping.

Additional fees will apply for orders outside of the contiguous US and international orders. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.

When will my order be processed?

Please note that all processing times are estimates and may be subject to change.

Most Monica + Andy clothing and accessory orders, including 2-day and other expedited shipping methods typically ship within 1-3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after an order has been placed.

During times of high order volume, fulfillment time may be extended.*

If an order includes a personalized item, please be aware personalization extends standard shipping + fulfillment by 7-10 business days.

**Please note: Due to high volume, embroidery orders will not be able to be fulfilled before the holidays. We are working diligently to address this issue and open up even more personalization options soon!

When an order includes both embroidered and non-embroidered items, we wait to ship the complete order as one shipment.

Nursery + More items and other partner products may ship separately and are subject to different processing and shipping times.

You may be asked to verify additional information if your order has been system flagged. We are not responsible for additional delays if an order has been flagged.

What carriers do you use?

We currently ship Monica + Andy orders with USPS, FedEx, FedEx Smartpost and DHL. The shipping method and carrier will be determined by Monica + Andy based on the order contents and shipping address.

How long does shipping take?

For destinations within the contiguous US, Monica + Andy product orders typically take 2-10 business days to be delivered after the order has been shipped. This excludes weekends and holidays. Packages are shipped after they have been fulfilled. Most orders take 2-5 business days to be fulfilled with personalization adding an additional 7-10 business days to the fulfillment time.

Occasional carrier delays may occur and are out of our control. Monica + Andy does not guarantee shipping or delivery dates.

Nursery + More items and other partner products may ship directly from the vendor and may take longer to ship. Please refer to individual products for more fulfillment information.

Please expect longer delivery times for Hawaii, Alaska and all international locations.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Please proceed through checkout for our landed cost calculator and international shipping options. For our Canadian Customers, you may receive a phone call from UPS asking whom you would like to have broker your shipment. Please respond that UPS should broker your shipment in order to receive your package in a timely manner.

Where can I track my order?

You will receive your tracking number via email shortly after your order ships. Due to carrier delays, please allow up 10 business days for your package to scan in transit.

What if the package says delivered but I didn't receive it?

If you did not receive your package, please confirm the shipping address and check other possible locations around the delivery area where the package could've been dropped or received by someone else.

Packages are sometimes prematurely marked as delivered by carriers. We ask that you wait 3 business days after the package is marked as delivered. If the package doesn't arrive after 3 business days, please reach out to our customer service team no later than 10 days after delivery and we will find a solution.

Orders, Returns, and Exchanges

Can I change my order?

We are unable to make any changes after an order has been placed as they are processed immediately.

Can I cancel my order?

Please note that you cannot cancel an order after it has been placed as they are processed immediately.

Can I edit my shipping address?

We are typically unable to make any changes after an order has been placed as they are processed immediately. If you need to change the shipping address, please contact us as soon as you can at storks@monicaandandy.com and we will do our best to make the change.

Nursery + More Items

Some Nursery + More and partner products ship directly from our partners. Nursery + More items and other partner products are not eligible for gift wrap and additional shipping costs may apply.

What forms of payment do you take?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and AMEX. Additionally, we accept PayPal online.

Do you have a waitlist?

If you’d like to be added to our waitlist for a specific product, please email storks@monicaandandy.com. The team will notify you when the item becomes available.

What is your returns and exchanges policy?

Returns can be started with an order number or email address.

Unwashed, unworn items purchased within 90 days with an order number are eligible for return.

All international orders, orders outside of the contiguous US (Hawaii and Alaska etc) as well as personalized, embroidered, sale and items sold as “final sale”, are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

Once the return is received and processed, orders will either be refunded to the original payment method or for store credit to use towards a future purchase.

All domestic Gift returns will receive store credit that can be used to shop online or in a Guideshop.

All domestic Gift returns must be accompanied with an order number or record of sale to be accepted. Shipping fees are not refunded.

You have 14 calendar days from the day you receive the return label (via email) to send your items back.

If no record of sale is available, we reserve the right to refuse the return and ask for personal identification.

If items in the return are significantly used or not in resellable condition, we also reserve the right to refuse the return and will mail back the items.

Shipping costs will not be refunded.

When can I expect my refund?

We aim to process returns as quickly as possible. You will receive a notification as soon as we finish processing your return. In times of high order volume, it may take us longer to process your return.

How do I make an exchange?

Once you’ve returned the item(s), we will issue you a store credit that can be used towards a new purchase. Shipping fees will not be refunded.

Will I be refunded the original shipping charge?

If you paid for shipping, you will not be refunded if you make a return. Refunds are for products only.

Do you price match?

We do not offer price matching on prior purchases.

How do I return a gift?

Gifts purchased or shipped domestically can be returned online or in a Guideshop for a store credit. Initiate an online return.

Discount/Promotional Codes

How do I apply my promo code to my order?

Promo codes can be applied at checkout by entering the code in the “gift card or promo code" field.

Only 1 promo code may be used per purchase.

Promo codes cannot be retroactively applied after you’ve placed your order.

We are unable to apply expired promo codes to an order.

Promo codes cannot be used toward Nursery + More items, other partner products, gift cards, events and services.

Are promo codes only eligible on Monica + Andy products?

Yes! Promo codes only apply to Monica + Andy products. They aren’t eligible for use on any Nursery + More items, partner products, events or services.

Our welcome discount is for new customers only. If we find abuse of the discount with multiple email addresses we will deduct the discount from your order.
