In-Person Infant CPR (NYC)

Taught by Christopher Johnston, this in-person class will teach you the basics of pediatric breathing emergencies, airway obstructions, basic First Aid and how to perform CPR & use an AED, followed by a Q&A. Topics may include: Pediatric CPR AED basics Airway obstruction Basic First Aid Water Safety.

Johnson holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from Hofstra University, a Master’s in Applied Theatre from CUNY, and an MS-Ed. in Educational Leadership from Bank Street College. With over 14 years of teaching experience in NYC, he currently serves as a Drama Teacher and Community Engagement Coordinator at a private Bronx school. His passion for CPR and First Aid began after a student emergency early in his career, prompting him to become a certified instructor in 2016. Since then, he’s led 100+ engaging, learner-centered CPR classes tailored to diverse groups. Chris uses humor and empathy to ease anxiety and empower participants to confidently respond in emergencies.
