Heading to Boston with your littles in tow? If so, you're in the right place. Jessica Klein, the lovely face behind Oh I Design, knows a thing or two about family-friendly activities and attractions around town...and she was kind enough to walk us through some of our favorites.

Jessica is definitely qualified to speak to the mom-friendly vibe of the city: The Boston native and her daughter, Evie, are regularly out and about (need proof? Look no further than Jessica's Instagram feed) — and soon she'll have another addition to tote around Boston, as she's set to welcome baby number 2 any day now.

So which spots does the soon-to-be mom of two love to frequent in her city? Read on for her picks...and the reasons she loves each of these spots.

Boston Children's Museum

This is one of my favorite places to take our daughter, Evie. They have so many great programs and their exhibits are educational and the entire space is well-designed. The Children's Museum is really close to other family-friendly places like The Barking Crab for lunch and The Boston Tea Party.

Minni

Located in one of my favorite neighborhoods of Boston, the South End, Minni is a space for kids focused on art and design and offers workshops + drop-in opportunities. I love that they have a focus on design, coming from an interior designer, I think what Minni provides is very unique and equally important for our kids.

The Public Garden

One of the things I love most about Boston is that it's is such a beautiful and walkable city, so putting the littles in a stroller and taking a walk is always a good plan. I love taking Evie to the Boston Public Garden to play (get energy out) and sometimes we will have a picnic. You can also take a $2 swan boat ride in the warmer months.

Little Lovage Club

Another great spot for infant and toddler classes, parenting workshops, and a space for birthday parties + events on weekends. I enrolled Evie in their storytime art class and she loved the combination of doing a hands-on activity and relating it to a book that the instructor read.

Boston Public Library

The newly renovated Children's Library at The Boston Public Library is a wonderful place to bring the little ones and meet other local parents. There's a great play space for babies and toddlers as well.
